Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC) boss calls for teamwork among staff

The Managing Director of the Bauchi Radio Corporation Alhaji Umar Muhammad Shira has described weekly media meetings as crucial for maintaining team cohesion, ensuring project progress, and fostering effective communication.

Alhaji Umar Shira was speaking at the maiden management editorial meeting with the corporation’s department Directors and heads of units.

According to him, the management editorial weekly meetings provide a platform to share updates, policy issues and coordinate directions of the organization as well as ensure that everyone is aware of the latest developments and priorities.

 

Alhaji Umar Shira pointed out that, such meetings offer opportunities for team members to brainstorm ideas, address challenges, and collectively work towards solutions.

He further revealed that, monitoring progress and identifying potential issues, allow for the review of progress, the identification of potential roadblocks, and the implementation of timely solutions.

The Managing Director said media industry is known for its fast-pace and dynamic nature, stressing that, the meetings wil allow the management to stay agile, adapt to changes, and maintain a competitive edge.

Alhaji Umar Shira said the meeting will provide an avenue for management to enhance service delivery and adhere strictly to the journalism professional ethics.

In their various contributions, the management staff and heads of various units commended the Managing Director for his foresight of initiating the weekly meeting and pledged to reciprocate the gesture by been committed to their assigned responsibilities.
