Bauchi state Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs Honourable Isa Babayo Tilde has inspected the ongoing 12km Durum-Nahutan Taba road construction earlier awarded by the state Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed,
Speaking at the project site, Babayo Tilde debunked insinuations that the road project has stopped.
He called on people of the area to disregard such fabricated and misleading information from mischiefs and pray for the present administration to complete the project as promised.
The Commissioner believed that, Governor Bala Mohammed is a man of his words and will never disappoint his people.
Meanwhile, Isa Babayo Tilde during the visit has stopped at the Palace of Village Head of Nahuta Taba.
Receiving the Commissioner and his team, the Village Head of Nahuta Taba appealed to the Commissioner to consider the renovation of his dilapidated palace.
Responding, the Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs Isa Babayo Tilde promised to look into the village head request in no distance time.
In another development, the state Commissioner from local government and Chieftaincy Affairs Isa Babayo Tilde has joined other PDP stakeholders in Toro Local Government to welcome 1122 APC members that decamped to PDP.
The visit by the commissioner demonstrated his desire to complement Kauran Bauchi efforts of ensuring good governance at the grassroot level.
